Learn how to make biking better in your town
Do you want your community to be bicycle friendly? BCGP has three presentations to educate and inform interested persons to advocate for better facilities, new trails and safer routes to school.
First, BCGP has a presentation to address what to ask for, how to build local support, secure funds, and get the attention of your elected officials in order to make it happen Second, BCGP has a presentation on the Circuit, our burgeoning regional trail network, and how you can use this powerful tool to ensure your favorite trail gets built and is well maintained. ConnectTheCircuit.org maps out the Circuit. Third, BCGP has a presentation on Safe Routes to School that will teach you how to apply for funding, advocate for infrastructure changes and work with your local schools on encouragement and education activities.
Scheduled workshops occured in September and October 2012. If you want a workshop or presentation made in your community, contact us today! bike@bicyclecoalition.org
