Promoting bicycling as a healthy, low-cost, and environmentally-friendly form of transportation and recreation.

Bicycle Ambassadors of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia

The Bicycle Ambassadors are friendly, knowledgeable bicyclists who are armed with maps and safety brochures. They're itching to talk to you about safe riding, commuting options, bike infrastructure and the services that BCGP offers. AmbassadorsĀ attend community events as well as create our own events to teach bike safety, sharing the road, bike lane and bike path etiquette and how to bike to work and school.

Our Bicycle Ambassadors are primarily found in Philadelphia neighborhoods however we have been invited to various events all over the greater Philadelphia area including community events, farmer's markets, transportation fairs and more! The Ambassador's program will run from May 2012 - March 2013.
