Mayor Nutter Joins Bicycle Coalition For Bike To Work Day On May 18th
 

WHAT: Philadelphia's Bike to Work Day. Mayor Michael Nutter and other dignitaries join the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and other bicycle commuters for a bicycle ride to work as part of National Bike to Work Day. A press conference will take place at Love Park after the ride.

 

WHEN: Friday, May 18th. 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM

 

WHERE: Riders gather in front of Lloyd Hall. Police-escorted bicycle ride travels down the Parkway to Love Park.

 

TIMELINE:

7:30 AM - Riders gather in front of Lloyd Hall

8:15 AM - Mayor Nutter and other dignitaries join riders at Lloyd Hall

8:30 AM - All riders depart from Lloyd Hall

8:50 AM - Riders arrive at Love Park; press conference

 

Press conference speakers will include Mayor Michael Nutter; Deputy Mayor Michael DiBerardinis; Alex Doty, Executive Director of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.

 

Photo opportunities will be available at Lloyd Hall from 7:30 AM - 8:15 AM, along the Parkway beginning at 8:15 AM, and at Love Park from 8:45 AM - 9:30 AM.
