Mayor Nutter To Lead Philadelphia's Bike to Work Ride

 

 

WHAT :       NATIONAL BIKE TO WORK DAY

Mayor Nutter will lead by example and commute to City Hall by bicycle. The public are invited to join the Mayor on his ride at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 8:30 a.m. This is a rain or shine event.
 
Where: Begins at the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and ends at the Northeast Corner of City Hall.
When: Friday, May 15, 2009 8:30 a.m. 
 
BICYCLE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM PRESS CONFERENCE
Immediately following the ride, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia will introduce the city to the 2009 Bicycle Ambassadors, a new adult education program about bike safety.
Mayor Nutter and Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown will help launch the Bicycle Ambassador Program.

When: Friday, May 15, 2009 immediately following the Bike to Work Ride (approximately 9:15 am)
