Easttown Library
720 First Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312
Morning: Bike Lane 101 (10:30 AM-12:30 PM)
Do you want your community to be more bicycle friendly? Making this a reality takes more than a simple call to your Commissioner or Representative. This workshop will cover what to ask for, building local support, finding money, and getting the attention of the elected officials whose support you need to make things happen.
Afternoon: Connecting The Circuit (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
Our brand-new website, ConnectTheCircuit.org (screenshot above right), is a powerful tool for both using and advocating for trails in your county. Learn about The Circuit and how you can make sure that your favorite trail gets built and is well maintained.
Lunch will be provided. To register, send an e-mail confirming your attendance to Diana at diana@bicyclecoalition.org. Please include any dietary restrictions for lunch.

ThinkBike Workshops Bring Dutch Bike Planners To Philly
|
In two weeks' time, a delightfully wonky workshop is taking place on Temple's Campus.
The ThinkBike Workshop will bring together Dutch bicycle transportation experts, local transportation planners, engineers and cyclists to plan and discuss how Philadelphia can become more bike-friendly. ThinkBike workshops have been held recently in Chicago, Washington DC, Miami, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
You can get involved in one of two ways: attend the open and closing sessions (open to the public), or apply to be part of one of the design teams.
